My Idea of Happiness

All the great thinkers & philosophers have suggested to feel happiness from within. Noted Film Critic Brajeshwar Madan also recommends the same thing. Nobody should waste time in search of Happiness out side oneself. His Idea of happiness reflects in his latest Hindi Poem 'Khushi' .

उसने खरीदा है नया बैग
देख रही है उसे
नयी नयी मिली खुशी की तरह
खोलती है उसे, और
सबसे पहले
उसमें रख देती है अपनी खुशी
पुराने बैग से निकाल कर
एक एक चीज रखने लगती है उसमें
मेक अप का सामान
कोई खुशबू, कोई खत, कोई कतरन
बरसों से संभाल कर
रखी हुई कोई तस्वीर
सब कुछ रखने के बाद
सोचती है- खुशी कहां गयी ?
भूल जाती है कि
सबसे पहले वही तो रखी थी
बैग के अंदर और
बाहर ढूंढने लगती है उसे ।
